Position: Maintenance Technician
Location: Solon
Hours: Full Time (1st, 2nd & 3rd Shift Available)
Starting Pay: $25-$34
Position ID: 3155


Position Summary

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production and facility equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operation. This position supports departmental objectives through equipment upkeep, preventative maintenance, and collaboration with management and staff.


Key Responsibilities

• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending training or reviewing materials related to best practices.
• Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Communicate effectively with management and other team members regarding maintenance needs and progress.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PM) in a timely manner.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and facility issues.
• Identify and report when parts and supplies are needed or used.
• Understand and follow all quality sign-off procedures.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, and part replacements as required.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Participate in meetings, committees, and ongoing improvement initiatives.
• Provide coverage for on-call maintenance needs and assist during absences or emergencies.
• Maintain flexibility in scheduling; weekend work may be required.


Physical Demands

• Must be able to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, use fingers to handle or feel, and climb or balance.
• Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed.
• Must be able to talk and hear clearly while performing job duties.
• Occasionally required to sit.
• Ability to lift, move, and carry materials or tools as required.
• 5 Years of prior experience preferred
