Position: Mixer
Location: Solon
Hours: Full Time (1st, 2nd & 3rd Shift Available)
Starting Pay: $17.75-$18.05

Position Summary
The Mixer position is responsible for preparing and blending ingredients to produce high-quality edible products in accordance with established recipes and production schedules. This role ensures accuracy in measuring, mixing, and staging materials to maintain product consistency, safety, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify and retrieve all ingredients following first-in, first-out procedures.
• Understand and carry out proper mixing processes and formula requirements.
• Read and interpret formula and batch sheets accurately.
• Weigh and measure ingredients to ensure product consistency.
• Operate and maintain de-clumping equipment as needed.
• Add oil, salt, or seasonings according to specifications.
• Tag and label mixed products properly.
• Read and follow production schedules and report deviations to management.
• Stage finished product for packaging.
• Operate hand trucks, tow motors, and other material handling equipment safely.
• Follow all quality sign-off, GMP, and food safety procedures.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and equipment.
• Remove cardboard and debris as needed and ensure safe equipment operation.
• Perform ATP testing and sanitation procedures on mixing and production equipment.
• Operate floor cleaning equipment as required.
• Charge tow motor at the end of each shift.
• Direct and train assigned personnel as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Good knowledge of raw materials and mixing procedures.
• Strong reading and math comprehension skills.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to work independently and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to climb ladders or stairs and access elevated platforms as needed.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining safety and quality standards.
• 2 Years of prior experience preferred
