Position: Sanitation Worker
Location: Solon
Hours: Full Time (1st, 2nd & 3rd Shift Available)
Starting Pay: $16.70-$17.00

Position Summary

The Sanitation Worker is responsible for cleaning and maintaining designated areas throughout the facility in accordance with established procedures and safety standards. The position supports overall plant operations by ensuring that all sanitation, hygiene, and compliance requirements are met to maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Read, understand, and follow the established cleaning schedule.
• Properly clean all assigned areas.
• Document tasks performed as required.
• Understand and follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Comply with all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Follow proper Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs) for all cleaning tasks.
• Use correct dilution of cleaning chemicals and sanitizers according to chemical usage standards.
• Direct and train assigned personnel as needed.
• Perform any and all additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. throughout the day.
• Ability to work independently and meet objectives with minimal supervision.
• Ability to follow directions and complete assigned tasks within reasonable timeframes.
• Ability to work from ladders and lifts to clean elevated areas as required.
• Must be able to climb ladders or stairs and access platforms to reach equipment.
• No prior experience needed
