Position: Technical Machine Operator
Location: Solon
Hours: Full Time (1st, 2nd & 3rd Shift Available)
Starting Pay: $19.50-$19.80

Position Summary
The Technical Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining packaging and sealing equipment to ensure all products meet quality and production standards. This position plays a key role in maintaining efficiency, meeting production goals, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality procedures.
Key Responsibilities
• Read, understand, and follow product specification sheets and production schedules.
• Set up and operate packaging machines according to specifications.
• Locate and stage film, cartons, and labels for production.
• Coordinate with mixing staff to ensure timely preparation of edible products.
• Apply appropriate labels and perform labeling or printing according to specifications.
• Assemble and inspect packaging for film, seal integrity, fill weight, and labeling accuracy.
• Package finished products, verify case weights, and label cartons per production requirements.
• Seal, stack, and properly palletize finished cartons.
• Move finished goods to designated staging or storage areas.
• Monitor production quality and promptly report deviations or mechanical issues.
• Complete daily production and quality reports accurately.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and food safety procedures.
• Clean, sanitize, and maintain assigned equipment and work areas.
• Direct and train assigned personnel as needed.
• Perform all additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience operating packaging or manufacturing equipment preferred.
• Ability to work independently, follow directions, and meet production goals.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and follow all safety and food handling standards.
• 3 Years of prior experience preferred
