JOB DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITES & REQUIREMENTS:

• Very hands-on approach to troubleshooting equipment.

• Personnel in this position must continuously demonstrate the mechanical and electrical skills necessary to maintain highest possible plant operating efficiencies

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and maintain all plant equipment and systems in order to repair or rebuild for efficient plant operations

• Observe equipment in operations, evaluate performance issues, and make informed decisions on repair/replacement

• Experience in industrial maintenance with skills in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC.

• Capable of fabrication and design

• Ability to adapt and improve issues with assembly processes.

• Ability to mechanically fabricate chutes and fixtures.

• Familiar with vibratory feeder bowls and conveyors.

• Experienced on CAM driven continuous motion, high speed, automation equipment.

• Extensive experience with pneumatics.

• Carry out PM Program – Injection molding machines/High speed assembly/Facility

• Motivated to source purchased components and replacement tooling from various vendors.

• Troubleshoot and Repair Manufacturing Equipment (includes all supporting infrastructure and assisting with Assembly machine changeovers) Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Electrical

• Knowledgeable in PLC programing and electric wiring with the ability to make PLC changes on Mitsubishi and Delta controllers.

• Must be willing to participate in additional training

• Must be willing to take technical classes covering PLC, Electrical Troubleshooting and Basic Wiring

• Take all necessary measures to work in a safe and professional manner

• Assist the Engineering/Maintenance personnel on internal plant projects and system installations

• Perform all other duties as assigned or directed by management/supervision

• Must be able to work with minimum supervision

• Mechanical aptitude –Strong mechanical aptitude with demonstrated knowledge of troubleshooting and experience in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and PLC’s.

• Forklift certification – The ability to operate a forklift in a safe manner consistent

with OSHA standards

• Facility Maintenance Repair and Upkeep

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED

• Minimum 3-5 years’ work experience in a similar role ideally in production orientated environment

• Strong Electrical analytical problem-solving ability

• Ability to read and troubleshoot using schematics• Experience with Injection Molding machines and/or High-Speed Assembly equipment is highly preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
