Our not-for-profit social service organization is seeking a Floor Technician to become a valuable member of our Goodwill team!  If hired, you will become part of the team responsible for maintaining a clean and healthy environment within one of downtown Cincinnati’s federal buildings.  This site is located conveniently close to multiple bus routes, is secure and in pristine condition. 

The Janitorial Floor Technician will be responsible for performing janitorial floor work and cleaning assignments on a day-to-day basis according to the specifications stated or as deemed necessary by supervisor.

High School or GED preferred.  2-5 years of janitorial service experience including stripping, waxing, scrubbing, buffing, carpet cleaning and operating janitorial floor machinery required.  Must be able to work independently after being given a directive.  Must be a self- starter.  Must know chemical and emergency procedures.  Must be able to identify and maintain the various types of floors installed in industrial and office establishments.  Must be able to identify and operate the typical janitorial commercial floor machines utilized in the cleaning of industrial and office establishments.   Able to lift up to 50 pounds, walking, standing, bending, stooping, and reaching.  Must pass initial drug testing.
