Shift Options:
1st Shift: Monday - Thursday, 5:30 AM - 4:00 PM, $19/hr
3rd Shift: Sunday - Wednesday, 7:00 PM - 5:30 AM, $19.60/hr
As a General Labor Associate, you'll be responsible for following safety protocols and actively identifying any safety concerns. You'll perform general foundry operations, including molding, iron-pour, muller, break-off, and brinell (excluding furnace operation and quality inspection). You'll inspect products and molds for defects, separate scrap, and notify supervisors of any issues.
Essential Duties:
Inspect products to meet established standards and follow work instructions
Complete required documentation accurately
Maintain and follow process sheets
Sort acceptable castings into proper tubs and separate scrap castings
Tag products for identification
Qualifications:
Ability to read and follow quality processes/work instructions
Must adhere to all safety rules and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Complete at least one week of on-the-job training with a certified operator
Must be certified as a tow motor operator
Knowledge of safety, quality, QPS, and OSHA procedures
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick, safe decisions
High School Diploma or GED required
