Material Area Supervisor - Toledo, OH | $29.83/hr.
Location: Toledo, OH
Pay Rate: $29.83/hour
Schedule: May include varying shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed
Type: Full-time, Onsite
Key Responsibilities
Lead hourly teams to achieve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and morale goals.
Develop team leaders and implement improvements in material delivery processes using World Class Manufacturing (WCM) principles to increase productivity and reduce costs.
Ensure inventory accuracy and maintain strong relationships with both management and union-represented employees.
Manage multiple teams in a high-volume, unionized manufacturing environment.
Coordinate daily team activities to meet business metrics and optimize material flow.
Oversee and develop highly functional teams, practicing company Leadership Principles.
Qualifications
Required:
High School Diploma or GED
Strong troubleshooting skills for equipment and machinery
Solid math and problem-solving abilities
Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Outlook
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and prioritization skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Self-starter with a strong work ethic
Preferred:
Bachelor's Degree
Experience in automotive manufacturing or logistics warehouse environments
Previous supervisory or management experience
