Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification.
- Successful track record of leadership in aviation maintenance.
- Demonstrated ability to guide and manage effectively, troubleshoot and resolve issues, and ensure high-quality, timely completion of tasks.
- Minimum of one year of hands-on experience working on turbine-powered aircraft.
- Thorough understanding of aircraft maintenance processes and proficiency in utilizing applicable manuals such as the General Maintenance Manual (GMM), Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM), Fault Isolation Manual (FIM), and wiring diagrams.
- Proficient in the use of required calibrated test equipment for diagnostic and operational testing of aircraft systems.
- Must possess or have ability to obtain a U.S. Passport or equivalent within 90 days of starting position.
- Ability to speak/read/write in English.
- If hired, must be able to demonstrate that you are authorized to work in the U.S.
Additional Information
Delegation: In absence, responsibilities delegated to Manager of Maintenance/Assistant Director of Maintenance.
Authorities: None.
Supervisory Responsibility: This is a supervisory position.
Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, photocopiers, facsimile machines and filing cabinets.
Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. This is largely a sedentary role; however, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; climb up and down stairs; lift weight up to 25 lbs; use hands to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
