Job Description

MACHINE OPERATOR IN GROVEPORT, OH

Volt is immediately hiring a Machine Operator in Groveport, OH.

As a Machine Operator, you will be:


* Move loose or bundled pipe within the shop and yard.
* Assemble pipe orders (single sticks or bundles) and maintain organized work supplies.
* Follow safety precautions for fabricating, cutting, assembling, stacking, and shipping pipe.
* Operate powered industrial equipment per OSHA guidelines.
* Set up and maintain machines for pipe fabrication.
* Measure, record, and add random pipe lengths accurately.
* Measure and cut pipe using band saws or torches.
* Thread and bevel pipe using Landis machines.
* Inspect and maintain forklift equipment.

This is a Full-time, contract opportunity.

Duration: 3 Months (1st Shift)

The ideal candidate will have:


* 6-8 months recent machinery, band saws, automatic welding machines. mechanical background
* Experience using and understanding tape measures.
* To read and understand work orders

Pay Rate: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour.

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
