POSITION SUMMARY

An Equipment Installer I is responsible for quality installation of equipment in Data Center/Construction environments as specified in engineering instructions and drawings and in accordance with customer standards. This is a field-based position, requiring regional and occasional national travel.

RESPONSIBILITIES


* Install equipment in Data Center/Construction environments
* On-site analysis of job drawings, specifications and MOPs
* Ensure quality installations by conforming to all applicable standards
* Perform all work with safety as the top priority. This includes following all company and customer mandated procedures as well as utilizing the proper PPE for the task at hand
* Maintain professional appearance and provide outstanding customer service
* Use computer for Data Entry/Administrative tasks
* Ability to pass background, drug, and motor vehicle screening

QUALIFICATIONS


* High school diploma or equivalent
* Strong verbal, written and customer-facing skills
* Basic computer skills to include MS Office or equivalent
* Basic knowledge and skills with hand tools

STANDARD TRAINING REQUIREMENTS


* OSHA10 required, OSHA30 preferred
* Fall protection preferred
* Manlift/Forklift certification preferred

PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS


* Medium Lifting (30 Ibs. - 45 Ibs.)
* Heavy Lifting (over 50 Ibs.)
* Frequent Standing
* Frequent kneeling / crawling / stooping
* Frequent bending / twisting
* Frequent climbing (stairs, ladders)
* Frequent driving (car, van, truck
* Noise Level (Medium / High need to shout to be heard)
* Working around moving machinery (fork-lifts, tractors)
* Protective Equipment Required (earplugs, gloves, eyewear, respirator, mask, etc.)
