Job Description
The Production Operator is responsible for the timely, safe, and efficient manufacture of powder coating products that meet customer requirements and quality standards. This entry-level role involves preparing and examining production materials, operating all assigned equipment, monitoring machine parameters, and troubleshooting basic processing issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and inspect production materials for processing.
- Operate equipment and machinery according to established procedures.
- Monitor machine parameters and troubleshoot routine processing problems.
- Manage time and tasks effectively to meet or exceed individual production goals.
- Contribute to improving overall line performance on a daily basis.

- Ability to manage time and tasks to meet or exceed production goals safely and efficiently.
- Ability to actively contribute to team performance and continuous improvement.
Desired Skills & Physical Requirements
- Ability to retrieve materials from shelves and floor stacks; lift and carry up to 30 lbs frequently and up to 55 lbs occasionally.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, stoop, climb, kneel, and tolerate nuisance dust.
- Ability to wear a respirator as required.
- Ability to operate hand trucks and material-handling equipment.
- Ability to climb and descend stairs and ladders; work at heights up to 30 feet.
- Must have good hearing, color vision, and depth perception.
- Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors as needed, with exposure to temperatures from 0° to 120°F.
- Ability to work in environments with noise requiring hearing protection.
- Ability to work around toxic, flammable, and hazardous materials.
- Ability to work on various surfaces including concrete, steel grating, blacktop, and facility roofs.
