Job Description

The Division of Behavioral Medicine and Clinical Psychology (BMCP) at Cincinnati Children's Hospital is seeking a psychologist to join the Pediatric Sleep Center (https://www.cincinnatichildrens.org/service/s/sleep). Our faculty includes board-certified sleep specialists including psychologists, pulmonologists, neurologists, otolaryngologists, and an advance practice nurse

(https://www.cincinnatichildrens.org/service/s/sleep/team). Program growth has created the opportunity to expand our clinical faculty. The full-time pediatric psychologist will work in a multidisciplinary setting and provide evidence-based evaluation, consultation and treatment to pediatric patients with complex sleep disorders.

Responsibilities for this position include providing outpatient behavioral sleep medicine (BSM) assessment and treatment for children referred to the Sleep Center with a range of clinical concerns including insomnia, parasomnia, hypersomnia, circadian rhythm disorders, and sleep disordered breathing. There are also academic and publication opportunities available if applicant is interested.

The ideal candidate will have completed a doctorate in clinical or school psychology (APA accredited), be licensed or license-eligible in Ohio and through PsyPACT, and completed postdoctoral training focused on child clinical/pediatric psychology. Formal BSM training is preferred. Our robust BSM training program and faculty are able to support junior faculty gaining competency in behavioral sleep medicine. Candidates from underrepresented groups are encouraged to apply.
