Position: Maintenance Personnel
The district is seeking a dependable, motivated, and skilled individual to join our team as Maintenance Personnel for the 2025–2026 school year. This position plays a vital role in ensuring that all school facilities are safe, clean, and fully operational for students, staff, and the community.
Responsibilities May Include (but are not limited to):
- Performing routine building maintenance, repairs, and preventive upkeep
- Conducting inspections of facilities, equipment, and mechanical systems
- Assisting with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general repair tasks
- Maintaining school grounds, including snow removal, lawn care, and seasonal duties
- Ensuring compliance with safety standards and reporting hazards
- Supporting custodial staff when needed
- Setting up or assisting with school events and activities
- Responding to maintenance requests efficiently and professionally
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in maintenance, facilities operations, or related trades
- Ability to operate maintenance tools, equipment, and machinery
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and time-management skills
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
