Now Hiring! Maintenance Supervisor
Location: Toledo, OH
Pay: $34.00/hour
In this influential role, you will lead safety, quality, delivery, cost, and morale initiatives while driving breakthrough improvements in equipment uptime and plant performance. What You'll Do
Lead, coach, and develop skilled trades teams in a unionized manufacturing environment
Oversee all maintenance activities, including breakdown repair, professional maintenance, TBM, CBM, and dynamic maintenance
Improve equipment reliability by influencing KPIs such as MTBF, MTTR, OEE, and downtime reduction
Troubleshoot run-to-run issues, throughput constraints, and equipment failures in real time
Drive waste-reduction initiatives using World Class Manufacturing (WCM) methods (AM, PM, QM, FI, PD)
Lead and participate in Kaizen and continuous-improvement projects focused on equipment performance
Ensure maintenance work meets safety, quality, and compliance standards
Manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining clear communication with plant leadership
Collaborate with Professional Maintenance Specialists (PMS) and cross-functional teams to sustain long-term equipment health
What You Bring
Required Qualifications
Valid driver's license
High School Diploma or GED
3+ years of industrial automation experience with project management exposure
Ability to work any shift and required overtime
Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
Proven experience troubleshooting equipment and leading cross-functional teams
Ability to coach, mentor, and develop skilled trades employees
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a technical or engineering field
Prior leadership experience in a union manufacturing environment
Lean, Six Sigma, Green Belt, Red X, or similar CI training
Hands-on experience with controls, robotics, drives, sealing systems, weld systems, conveyance, paint processes, vision systems, and sensors
Familiarity with WCM pillar methodologies
Experience with Google Suite
Strong background in continuous improvement and reliability-based maintenance
