Job Summary:
As a Moving Helper, you will assist with the packing, loading, transportation, and unloading of clients' belongings. You will work closely with the moving team to ensure that all items are handled with care and that moves are completed efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with packing and wrapping furniture and other items to prevent damage during transit.
Load and unload items onto and off the moving truck, ensuring that all items are properly secured.
Transport items from the client's location to the moving truck and from the truck to the new location.
Disassemble and reassemble furniture as needed.
Provide excellent customer service and address any client concerns or requests professionally.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the moving truck.
Follow all company policies and procedures, as well as safety guidelines.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in moving, warehouse, or manual labor preferred but not required.
Ability to lift heavy items (up to 75 lbs) and perform physically demanding tasks.
Strong attention to detail and care for clients' belongings.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Valid driver's license preferred but not required.
