Your Opportunity as the Lead Analyst -Integrated Business Planning System Support (Supply & Demand Planning)

This individual will support the software and analytics used by Demand, Supply and Inventory Planning for all business within The J.M. Smucker Company. The role will support the software integration within Logility Demand Optimization, Blue Yonder Enterprise Supply Planning, Blue Yonder Sequencing and E2Open. This individual will be a key liaison to IS on implementation of new functional design, validate new functionality, and train users within planning.

Location: Orrville, Corporate Offices

Work Arrangements: Hybrid - onsite a minimum of 9 days a month primarily during core weeks as determined by the Company; maybe more as business need requires

In this role you will:

Identifies business needs and gaps - Coordinate with IS project managers to implement test plans to validate system enhancements and meet project deadlines

Consults with Business Subject Matter Expert to document existing process, research best practices and propose future enhancements / continuous improvement

Facilitate User Acceptance testing on functional design for all enhancements within system integration

Develop training materials to key users on system enhancements within supply and demand

Governance of consistent planning processes and facilitates training to key users on system enhancements

Support planning system data maintenance and set up to ensure accurate and reliable planning

Conduct Demand Planning Analytics - Forecast Value Add and Coefficient of Variation analysis on Demand Hierarchy across all businesses

Maintain existing analytics and develop new analytical tools to support planning team objectives

What we are looking for:

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree

At least 5 years of supply chain experience

Strong analytical, organizational, decision making, and presentation skills

Requires advanced skills in data handling and manipulation, analytics (Spotfire a plus), and forecasting/inventory management experience

Project experience with exposure to project management concepts and principles

Strong interpersonal skills are essential to effectively interact with all teams, areas and levels of business affecting the planning process

Ability to develop and recommend process, system improvements

Limited travel required

Additional skills and experience that we think would make someone successful in this role:

System knowledge of Supply/Demand planning software is preferred (Blue Yonder / Logility)

Experience working with various supply chain processes helpful

Recognized as internal expert to business customers in the area of Supply & Demand planning

Ability to solve problems and manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Self-motivated, takes initiative; good follow-up

Ability to handle multiple tasks across various functional areas

Self-directed work style
