Position Overview:
This caseworker will determine eligibility of customers for PRC, childcare, cash assistance, food stamps, Medicaid, and various special programs including but not limited to Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act Programs, following prescribed rules, regulations, laws and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications:
The successful applicant will meet all minimum job requirements which include: Associate’s degree in human services or related field (preferred but not required) or 2-years of related paid work experience. The candidate must be able to demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to calculate fractions, decimals and percentages; gather, collate and classify data; handle sensitive personal and telephone contacts; establish rapport with customers and operate a computer. A valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record is required. The candidate may have to drive personal vehicle and must maintain required liability limits.
