Job Description: The Stark County Community Action Agency in Canton, OH, is hiring a full-time Workforce Development Opportunity Specialist.

Duties:

• Create opportunities that foster the education and employment development of youth and adult job seekers and workers, in collaboration with the Workforce Development Director, local and regional employers, training and education institutions.
• Serve as the program employment specialist to recruit and engage job seekers in SCCAA’s education and employment services, with the goal to match program participants to employment opportunities.  

Details: Full time. First Shift. 40 to 45 hours/week. Monday through Friday. $23.00/hour.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree. Must have at least 3 years of experience. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be at least 21 years of age.

Driver’s License Requirement(s): Must have a valid driver’s license.
