Quality Inspector – 2nd Shift (On-site | Full-Time | Painesville, OH)

A growing manufacturing facility in Painesville, Ohio is seeking a skilled and dependable Quality Inspector to join the team on Second Shift. Position Details:
Location: On-site in Painesville, OH
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, Second Shift
Employment Type: Hourly

Responsibilities Include:

  • Interpreting blueprints, specs, and process documents to verify compliance

  • Conducting in-process and final inspections using precision measuring tools

  • Recording inspection results clearly and accurately

  • Collaborating with production and engineering to ensure product quality

  • Supporting quality audits, training, and customer return evaluations

  • Promoting and maintaining quality assurance standards throughout the production floor

  • Assisting with production duties when not performing inspections

  • Following safety and compliance protocols

What We're Looking For:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Minimum 2 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Experience inspecting small or intricate parts

  • Proficiency with measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauge pins, vision systems, etc.)

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

  • Clear communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally

  • Willingness to work overtime as needed

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs

  • Frequent standing, walking, and use of hands

  • Specific vision abilities including close vision, color vision, and depth perception

  • Must wear safety glasses in designated areas

  • Must pass post-offer physical exam
