Position: Design Engineer / Mechanical Design Engineer
Location: Madison, Ohio
Hours: Full-Time (M-F, 8-5)
Pay: $70,000–$90,000+ DOE, plus annual bonus

POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a motivated Design Engineer to add to our team. This new role is ideal for a Mechanical Engineer or Engineering Technology graduate who enjoys both designing in CAD and working hands-on with fabrication and assembly. You will also interface directly with our greenhouse customers to support technical questions and project needs. In this role, you will contribute to supporting fulfilling the growing goals of our clients.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop greenhouse structures, components, and assemblies using AutoCAD (preferred).
• Create 3D models, assemblies, and 2D manufacturing drawings.
• Collaborate with production, installation, and internal teams to define and deliver new products and technical solutions.
• Communicate with greenhouse customers via phone and email to address technical questions and project details.
• Produce and maintain drawings, BOMs, work instructions, and product documentation.
• Research materials and applications including aluminum, glass, and polycarbonates for product improvement.
• Assist in planning and designing manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Follow all safety, environmental, and industry regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology, Mechanical Design, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
• CAD proficiency (AutoCAD preferred)
• Strong communication and customer interaction skills
• Comfortable in a fabrication and assembly environment
• Ability to manage multiple priorities including design, shop support, and customer communication
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must pass a background check and drug screening
