Position: BIM Associate, Part Time

Department: Administration (ADM)

Reporting Relationship: BIM Manager, ADM

Part Time Temporary Position through 3/31/2026

POSITION OVERVIEW & RESPONSIBILITIES

This position will support the BIM function through completion of assigned tasks and collaboration with internal operating groups to improve Revit tool performance. Responsibilities include developing mechanical Revit content, verifying family accuracy, building new families when needed and ensuring proper system functionality within Revit.

Specific responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:

Review and maintain mechanical families to ensure accuracy, functionality, and compliance with company standards.
Validate and update components, parameters, connectors, and annotations for consistency across projects.
Collaborate with operating groups to confirm families meet organizational needs and make adjustments as required.
Create or modify families and schedules in alignment with established standards and project requirements.
Develop new families and related documentation when gaps in the catalog are identified.
Additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, (or a related field) or equivalent relevant experience.
Must be legally authorized to work in the US on a permanent basis without the need for work sponsorship now or in the future.
Attention to detail with an understanding of the impacts and interdependencies of systems.
Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, including building new families, updating existing families and aligning to corporate standards.
Strong understanding of building systems, construction processes, and industry standards.
Represent the company in a professional matter.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with others.
Knowledge of computer technology and specific areas of application, including MS Office.
Travel: May include up to 25% domestic travel.

Preferred

Previous experience working on large-scale commercial or infrastructure projects.

Working Conditions

Some work locations will feature the tough terrain typical of construction sites or require lifting or moving field testing equipment.
