The Content Capability Analyst collaborates with various stakeholders across the organization to determine and transform unstructured scientific data into organized and relevant information for inclusion in and utilization by CAS products, services, and solutions. This includes tackling complex challenges related to content data interpretation and working closely with teams across functional units to align content strategies, share insights, and drive cohesive efforts towards achieving common goals.

Position Accountabilities


Facilitate the investigation, definition, and validation of content capabilities.


Optimize content structure and modularity by identifying how to enable automatic reuse of content and adaptation to different platforms and audience needs.
Assess the quality and relevance of content against set goals.
Identify and analyze content deficiencies, suggest improvements and work with content teams to optimize content to support business goals.
Make data-driven decisions to optimize content performance and user engagement.

Uncover content relationships and configure data filters to enable users to easily navigate and explore multiple content repositories.


Leverage content models and metadata to create personalized content pathways that align with the overall content strategy and support the specific needs for product or business units.

Ensure alignment across diverse stakeholders to meet content needs for products and customers.


Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand content goals and support the overall content strategy.
Work with various teams to ensure alignment and knowledge sharing throughout the content life cycle.
Participate in and support technology projects that leverage content data.

Mentor junior analysts, guiding them in best practices, data analysis techniques, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Support innovation by leveraging new tools, methodologies, or strategies that optimize content performance and audience engagement.

Additional responsibilities may include identifying and implementing process improvements, participating in unit-level projects, and leveraging data analysis skills to measure and report on progress.

Requirements:

Candidates must have at least a bachelor's degree in science or a business-related discipline with 8 or more years of relevant experience. 2-5 years of experience in content capability analysis or engineering, business analysis, requirements analysis, or other related roles is preferred. Prior experience working with CAS data is desired.

The successful candidate will be an excellent team player who is organized and willing to adapt to the needs and requirements of an agile organization. The individual in this role must have demonstrated success in influencing peers and leaders as well as collaborating across functional groups and must demonstrate a proactive and flexible attitude, with a keen willingness to show initiative.
