Job Description

Location: Remote EST

Responsibilities

* Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements through interviews, workshops, and workflow analysis.
* Translate complex business needs into functional requirements, user stories, use cases, and process flows.
* Work closely with Product Owners, business stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure requirements are complete, clear, and traceable.
* Maintain requirement documentation throughout the project lifecycle and support change management processes.

* Perform data analysis to support requirement validation, impact assessment, and solution design.
* Write and execute SQL queries to extract, validate, profile, and analyze data across multiple systems.
* Identify data issues, inconsistencies, and gaps, and work with developers and data teams to resolve them.
* Assist with data mapping, transformation logic, and source-to-target documentation.

* Partner with .NET development teams to ensure requirements are technically feasible and aligned with system architecture.
* Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and technical design discussions.
* Assist developers and QA testers by clarifying requirements, business rules, and acceptance criteria.
* Review test cases and validate that solutions meet documented requirements.
Required

* 3+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role.
* Strong experience writing functional requirements, user stories, and process documentation.
* Proficiency in SQL for data analysis, validation, and investigation tasks.
* Experience working on projects involving .NET applications.
* Ability to translate business needs into detailed technical requirements.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
* Experience collaborating with developers, QA, product managers, and business stakeholders.
