Position Description:
Provide xPL Offsite (xPL) supply chain solutions for commodity or Offsite Manufacturing (OSM) products for single project teams and external clients. Manage local level vendor relationships to promote xPL product solutions.
Essential Duties & Key Responsibilities:
Provide guidance to xPL Offsite (xPL) project teams and clients for decisions related to purchasing, product, technical, and supply chain solutions for commodity or OSM products.
Evaluate impact of market dynamics on vendor capacity, availability, and delivery demands. Collaborate with vendors to develop resolution processes and corrective actions needed to address issues and maintain clear expectations with project team and stakeholders.
Compile supplier data and lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) meetings and present on vendor product performance, responsiveness, quality and alignment to Environmental, Sustainability, and Governance (ESG) initiatives.
Manage demand and capacity planning across supply chain programs and reinforce vendor adherence to contractual obligations and delivery client schedules.
Identify local level supply chain vendors to address capacity requirements for commodity or OSM products xPL services.
Manage local vendor qualifications, create, negotiate, and manage terms and agreements. Establish governance, conduct onboarding, and communicate availability of vendors to project team.
Evaluate manufacturer vendor key performance indicators (KPIs) through stakeholder feedback and share findings with manufacturers to improve processes.
Solicit, obtain, and organize transactional tracking of Commodity or OSM products for large supply chain programs for specific tiers (e.g., fabricator, integrator).
Facilitate vendor pricing, analyze vendor bids, prepare bid analysis spread sheets, coordination matrix, and scope of work.
Schedule and coordinate factory testing and attend tests at manufacturing sites.
Collaborate with xPL Business Development and Sourcing teams related to sourcing and procurement to identify sales opportunities, vendor capacity, and understand and mitigate related risks.
Participate in related industry events to understand market dynamics and represent xPL as industry leader.
May supervise team, participate in hiring process, onboard new employees, and contribute to performance appraisals during annual performance cycle, utilize talent management systems, and identify appropriate training to help with staff development needs.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree from accredited degree program in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field of study, with minimum of 8 years of supplier management, procurement, manufacturing, or construction experience, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
Knowledge of manufacturing and/or supply chain industry material markets, competition, and industry trends
Extensive product technical Electrical, Mechanical, and/or Finished Products knowledge
Expertise in differentiating manufacturer services
Interpersonal relationship building skills with ability to engage and secure partnerships with broad range of contacts in manufacturing and supply chain industry
Negotiation skills with ability impact decision making
Knowledgeable of estimating, construction costs, scheduling, purchasing and engineering principals and techniques, general contract and subcontract documents, drawings and specifications, and familiar accounting and cost control procedures
Able to manage high volumes of work and move projects forward in timely manner
Advanced presentation and delivery skills, ability to anticipate needs of audience and tailor communications appropriately
Process and critical thinking skills with sound judgement and decision-making
Supervisory experience desired, with ability to delegate and manage local teams
Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office suite of applications (e.g., Excel, Access), and collaborative tools and applications
Familiar with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) applications
