Dispatch/Operations Leader - Groveport, OH

ProDrivers, a division of Employbridge, is a National Transportation Company that specializes in the placement of commercial drivers. ProDrivers is the largest commercial driving staffing company in the country.

Job Summary: The Dispatch/Operations Leader is responsible for leading orientation, placement, and management of drivers.

Essential Job Functions:


Become familiar with driver availability and preferences
Handles dispatching and scheduling drivers
Skill marketing available drivers to clients
Assist in resolving branch challenges and escalated client issues
Ability to respond in a timely, positive, and creative manner to last minute needs from drivers and clients
Assist in preparing and leading the daily whiteboard meetings to ensure team is focused on daily goals
Develop relationships with drivers, clients, and internal staff
Assist with recruiting efforts as needed
Builds and retains an active pipeline of drivers for all roles
Leverages data to set realistic expectations, based on current volume, to successfully fill positions

Qualifications, Education, & Experience:


Dispatch or transportation experience would be a plus, but not required
Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume, driven environment
Needs to have excellent relationship-building skills
Must be computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Applications
Oral and written communication skills
Must be a self-starer, very organized, detail-orientated
