Full-Time (M-TH, 6-4:30) Friday overtime as needed

$16.50-$18.50/Hr Based On Experience

POSITION SUMMARY

The Fabricator performs set-up, operation, and light maintenance of machinery, tools, and fixtures; completes finishing operations on welded assemblies; operates grinding and sanding equipment; fabricates metal components; and ensures all parts are prepped and finished to specification. This role requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work accurately across various areas of a production environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate production equipment according to work requirements
• Produce assigned components following verbal and written instructions
• Blend welds and surfaces using dual-action sanding equipment as needed
• Select and apply the appropriate grinding tools and materials
• Complete equipment set-ups per specifications and quality procedures
• Record material usage and time spent on each assignment
• Inspect parts and document findings
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
• Pretreat, clean, and mask parts as required
• Load parts efficiently to maximize process capacity
• Use measuring tools to verify quality
• Follow all policies, procedures, and safety regulations
• Report discrepancies, equipment issues, and injuries promptly
• Perform additional duties as assigned

PHYSICAL REQUIRMETNS

• Frequent standing, walking, sitting, reaching, and handling materials
• Ability to lift/move up to 25 pounds regularly
• Visual requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
• Frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts
• Work environment may be loud

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED
• One year of manufacturing experience preferred (training may be provided)
