AMPM Employment is seeking a reliable Route Driver to join a local company on 1st shift. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being on the road, providing great service, and working independently while representing the company professionally.

Position Summary

The Route Driver is responsible for transporting products and materials between customer locations, warehouses, and distribution points. This role includes loading/unloading, maintaining accurate delivery records, and ensuring timely, efficient routes.

Shift & Pay

1st Shift: Typically 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (may vary slightly by route)
Pay: $19/hour
Location: Dayton, OH

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled delivery routes safely and on time

• Load and unload products using proper equipment and lifting techniques

• Verify delivery orders, collect signatures, and maintain accurate documentation

• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report issues promptly

• Follow assigned routes and adapt to real-time changes

• Provide excellent customer service at each delivery point

• Keep delivery vehicle clean and organized

• Comply with all company and DOT safety policies

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

• Previous driving or delivery experience preferred

• Ability to lift 40–50 lbs throughout the shift

• Strong time-management and communication skills

• Reliable attendance

• Ability to work independently and problem-solve on the route
