  • Entry-Level, Part-Time (20 hrs/week): $18,720/year

  • Experienced, Full-Time (40 hrs/week): $52,000/year

  • Anything over 40 hours: Paid at time-and-a-half

Schedule: 20–50 hours per week
Shifts:
• 1st Shift: 7:30 AM–5:00 PM
• 2nd Shift: 12:00 PM–5:00 PM
Workdays: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday
Minimum Age: 18
Positions Available: 10

Position Summary

The Crew Lead oversees moving operations on-site, ensuring safe, efficient, and professional service delivery. This position provides leadership to Crew Members, coordinates job tasks, communicates with customers, and ensures high-quality handling of all items. The Crew Lead models best practices and ensures adherence to safety and customer service standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate moving crews during packing, loading, transport, and unloading.

  • Communicate job plans and expectations to team members.

  • Serve as primary point of contact for customers during each move.

  • Perform hands-on moving duties including lifting, wrapping, packing, and loading.

  • Train new or less experienced crew members on proper techniques.

  • Complete required documentation, inventory forms, and condition reports.

  • Conduct final walkthroughs to ensure all items are accounted for and properly handled.

  • Maintain truck organization and ensure safe placement of items to prevent shifting.

  • Resolve issues on-site and escalate concerns when necessary.

  • Uphold safety policies and ensure compliance among crew members.


Qualifications

  • Prior moving, logistics, warehouse, or related physical labor experience preferred.

  • Demonstrated leadership, communication, and customer service skills.

  • Ability to guide and motivate team members effectively.

  • Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 75 lbs. repeatedly.

  • Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.

  • Willing to work a flexible schedule including weekends and occasional overtime.


Physical Requirements

  • Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling.

  • Working indoors and outdoors in various conditions.

  • Ability to stand and move throughout the workday.
