Overview
Apogee has an exciting new opportunity for aSenior Growth and Operations Director (ASTRA)to join the corporate team focused on opportunities to support theNational Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC)! In this role, you will lead a business unit of direct and hybrid corporate capabilities supporting Apogee's advisory and technical assistance delivery on NASIC's $866M, 8-year ASTRA multi-award contract. You will simultaneously direct Apogee's business development (BD), capture, and pipeline/transition management for all ASTRA task orders. This is a high-impact role that requires advanced leadership, organizational, operational, and BD skills in the delivery of high-end advisory services to NASIC and other Federal Government customers.
This is a full-time position located at the Beavercreek, Ohio, corporate office, with up to 50% telework flexibility.
Responsibilities
Develop and win task order opportunities in NASIC ASTRA; lead the execution of multiple task orders within Apogee's ASTRA portfolio
Lead full life cycle capture management activities, including ASTRA pipeline development, grooming, assessment, pursuit, partnering, capture, and bid
Develop and manage the Apogee Team and orchestrate partner companies to execute ASTRA capture plans
Engage NASIC customers to understand challenges, influence requirements, and develop potential solutions
Serve as opportunity owner for ASTRA task order proposals, including leading strategy sessions, pursuit/bid briefs, kickoff briefs, identifying necessary support resources, providing inputs for content as necessary, and securing approval from Apogee leadership
Oversee development of proposal packages to tell a compliant, compelling story that effectively articulates win themes to maximize Apogee performance on ASTRA
Build, transition, and direct high-performing, highly engaged teams of Apogee and subcontractor personnel delivering advanced advisory services to NASIC at both Government and contractor sites
Plan, organize, and manage comprehensive program resources - including schedules, staffing, and budgets - to successfully execute portfolio and task order objectives
Manage, monitor, and meet task order and portfolio performance goals; execute portfolio profit and loss responsibilities
Conduct task order and portfolio risk assessments and alert Apogee leadership and Government officials to potential issues and resource limitations and recommend/implement mitigation and resolutions
Proactively interface with Apogee corporate teams, task order leads, employees, subcontractors, customers, and contracting authorities to ensure effective and compliant service delivery
Orchestrate Apogee's Project Control, Contract Management, Human Resources, and Infrastructure/Security teams to execute high-quality service delivery to NASIC customers
Lead and support hiring management and staff retention initiatives across multiple task orders
Collaborate with Human Resources to lead program managers and task order leads in resolving employee relations issues to generate positive outcomes for the employee, NASIC, and Apogee
Supervise, provide mentorship, and lead career development initiatives for ASTRA portfolio staff, including program managers and task order leads
Qualifications
Minimum Experience:
Citizenship:Must be a US citizen
Clearance:Must have and be able to maintain a Top-Secret level clearance with SCI eligibility
Education:Master's Degree
Years of Experience:Twelve (12) or more years of experience supporting the delivery of professional and technical services to Department of War (DoW), Intelligence Community (IC), and/or other Government agencies
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications:Project Management Professional (PMP) (highly preferred)
Additional Experience:
Expert in building and leading high-performing cross-functional teams, including prime and subcontractor partners, to deliver advanced advisory services while sustaining high engagement, retention, and performance
Strong customer engagement and stakeholder-influencing skills, with the ability to understand mission challenges, shape requirements, present solutions, and maintain trusted relationships with Government leaders and contracting authorities
Proven leadership in full life-cycle capture management activities across complex IDIQ/MAC environments, driving pipeline development, opportunity assessment, partner orchestration, and bid strategy to secure competitive task order wins
Track record of winning and executing multi-million-dollar task orders in DoW or IC environment, owning opportunity pursuit, shaping requirements with customers, developing discriminating win themes, and delivering compliant, compelling proposals
Skilled in risk management and operational oversight, conducting portfolio-level risk assessments, briefing leadership and Government officials, and implementing mitigation strategies that preserve performance and mission success
Superior written and verbal communication skills

Pay Range
USD $175,000.00 - USD $220,000.00 /Yr.
