Job Description

We are seeking a hands-on Product Managerto drive improvements in the Canvas LMS experiencefor educators and students. This role will focus on implementation, integrations, and user experience design-ensuring that Canvas works seamlessly with 3rd party tools, delivers content effectively, and provides an intuitive, engaging experience that supports learning at scale.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead the end-to-end implementationof Canvas features, enhancements, and workflows across K-12 environments.

* Partner with engineering, design, and curriculum teams to optimize the user experiencefor teachers, students, and administrators.

* Evaluate, integrate, and manage 3rd party tools and content providerswithin Canvas, ensuring smooth interoperability and compliance with standards (LTI, QTI, SCORM, xAPI).

* Gather and synthesize user feedbackto identify pain points and prioritize solutions that improve usability, navigation, and engagement.

* Own the product backlog, writing clear user stories and acceptance criteria, and working closely with engineering on delivery.

* Collaborate with support teams to monitor performance, track issues, and ensure timely resolution of bugs or integration challenges.

* Develop metrics and dashboardsto measure adoption, user satisfaction, and learning impact; use insights to guide product decisions.

* Create training materials, release notes, and demosto support rollout and drive adoption of new Canvas features and integrations.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in a related field; technical or instructional technology background preferred.

* 4-8 years of experience in product management or LMS administration(Canvas experience strongly preferred).

* Strong understanding of LMS integrations, standards (LTI, QTI, SCORM, xAPI), and digital content delivery.

* Experience working directly with educators, administrators, and instructional designersto improve workflows and learning experiences.

* Excellent collaboration skills and ability to translate user needs into technical requirements.

* Strong problem-solving and organizational skills with attention to detail.

* Passion for improving digital learning environmentsand creating intuitive, student-centered experiences.

· This is a remote position.This position is open to residents of, and may be performed remotely from Washington, D.C., and from any of the 50 States.

Compensation & Benefits: Stride, Inc. considers a person's education, experience, and qualifications, as well as the position's work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value when determining a new employee's salary level. Salaries will differ based on these factors, the position's level and expected contribution, and the employee's benefits elections. Offers will typically be in the bottom half of the range.

* We anticipate the salary range to be $85,457.50 to $105,000.00. The upper end of this range is not likely to be offered, as an individual's compensation can vary based on several factors. These factors include, but are not limited to, geographic location, experience, training, education, and local market conditions. Eligible employees may receive a bonus.
