RESPONSIBILITIES:



Works as part of the production crew with a main focus on preparing the machine for the production run, according to the customer order.

Watch belts, lifts, and tracks for nonconforming products and/or other related problems.

Perform P.M. and housekeeping duties as detailed in equipment specific instruction.

Assists with running orders when the machine is ready by watching the run continue smoothly and without problem. If a problem arises, such as machine failure, product quality is not to standard, or a shortage of paper, this individual notifies the operator of the problem. May need to work with management, maintenance, and other company employees to fix the problem.

Place top and bottom pads on units. Place cross pads down when needed.

Complete maintenance work orders as necessary.

Follow all OSHA requirements and facility safety rules.

Works with various production machines and basic tools such as tape measure and safety cutter.





BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:



High School Graduate or GED.



Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, such as schedules and orders.



Must be willing to work overtime on short notice, including weekends



Ability to work in manufacturing environment, with varying temperatures based on season, around machinery, and heavy Forklift traffic.



Must be authorized to work in the U.S.





PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:



1 + year of experience in a packaging or other manufacturing environment.
