Job Description

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Press Brake Operator to join our production team. This role is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC press brake machines to bend, form, and fabricate metal components according to specifications. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with press brakes, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to read blueprints accurately.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm (overtime as needed)
Pay: $20+ per hour (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate CNC press brake machinery to bend sheet metal parts according to work orders.

  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy of finished components.

  • Select proper tooling, determine bend sequences, and adjust machine settings.

  • Inspect parts using precision measuring tools (calipers, gauges, etc.) to maintain quality standards.

  • Perform routine maintenance on press brake machines and notify supervisors of mechanical issues.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

  • Work closely with production and fabrication teams to meet daily goals and deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Experience with press brakes and CNC controls is required.

  • Previous metal fabrication or manufacturing experience preferred.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and measuring tools.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

  • Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
