Volt is immediately hiring a Distribution Associate in Cambridge, OH 43725

SUMMARY:

The Distribution Associate is responsible for performing a variety of distribution functions within a warehouse or product distribution facility. This includes order fulfillment, inventory monitoring, and ensuring accurate and timely processing of customer orders. The role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and efficient handling of goods to maintain operational excellence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


* Order Processing: Receive and process customer orders accurately and promptly.
* Stock Handling: Locate and extract stock items from shelves and storage areas based on work orders.
* Verification & Inspection: Confirm merchandise details against work orders; inspect items for damage or irregularities.
* Packing & Shipping: Pack goods securely, prepare them for shipment, and schedule deliveries in coordination with carriers.
* Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, replenish stock as needed, and maintain accurate records of all transactions.
* Documentation: Update inventory and order details in the system (WMS/ERP) and ensure proper documentation for shipping.
* Safety & Compliance: Follow all safety protocols, maintain a clean and organized work environment, and comply with company policies.

QUALIFICATIONS:


* Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
* Experience: 1-2 years in warehouse, distribution, or logistics operations preferred.

SKILLS:


* Ability to operate warehouse tools and equipment (pallet jacks, RF scanners).
* Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems.
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Duration: 3 months(possible extensions)

Shift: 1st shift(6:00AM-2:00PM)

Pay Range:? $14.00/hr. - $15.00/hr.
