MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Four (4) year degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience in similar position with one (1) years of experience in Computer Systems Operations. Valid driver's license. Knowledge of employee training and development. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Knowledge of various computer hardware and software. Knowledge of computer operations. Pass Criminal Background Check. Knowledge of various operating systems-and networked operating systems. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Ability to organize time and set priorities.
Pre-employment physical and drug screen required.

Description of the Job:
Under general supervision of the Information Technology (IT) Director, manages the computer operations of all County computer systems under the Board of County Commissioners. Assists other Elected Officials and Separate Boards as requested.
Essential Functions to be performed:
- Serve as a liaison with and between systems users, service personnel, vendors, consultants, etc.
- Evaluate equipment and or supplies to meet needs of users.
- Prepare technical specifications and recommendations for the purchase of computer hardware, software and peripheral equipment.
- Maintain and update website information
- Maintain and evaluate data, audio, and video presentation/recording system.
- Review bids and proposals and recommend purchases, service and training contracts.
- Install and program computer hardware, software, firewall, network equipment, phones and
servers.
- Develop and present orientation and training programs for system users.
- Develop policy and procedure manuals for the utilization of computer systems and software.
- Coordinate the repair of electronic equipment and monitors service contracts.
- Provide technical assistance, monitor and mitigate potential risks.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and directives issued by Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS) and State of Ohio.
- Utilize Ohio Secretary of Staters cyber liaison, Department of Homeland Security's
Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), and Multi-State Information Sharing and Analysis Center (MS-ISAO)
- Serve on a rotating 24/7 on call schedule.
Other Functions:
- Troubleshoot systems to ensure efficient operations.
- Inspect new hardware and software to ensure quality.
- Attend meetings and seminars as requested*
- Develop forms and programs as needed.
- Complete special projects as may be required.
- Maintain Microsoft software.
- Maintain system and server backups.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Active Directory (AD) and Remote Access
- Experience with Courtroom Technology and Electronic Management Systems
- Background in IT for a court or law enforcement agency
Physical Requirements:
- Alternate frequently between sitting/standing/walking throughout an eight (8) hour workday.
- Lift/carry a minimum of fifty (50) pounds.
- Reaching with bilateral upper extremities into/up to/down to various heights.
- Push/pull with twenty (20) pounds of initial force.
