Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Office Manager to join our team. This position requires wearing many hats in a small but impactful organization. The right candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and enthusiastic about serving seniors in Marion County. Key responsibilities include billing, managing the agency’s social media presence, assisting clients over the phone and in person, and providing general administrative support.
Key Responsibilities
- Billing & Financial Support
- Prepare, process, and track billing documents and records.
- Assist with maintaining accurate financial files and reports.
- Social Media & Communications
- Manage social media accounts and assist with newsletters, announcements, and outreach materials.
- Promote programs, events, and community resources to increase awareness.
- Client Services
- Greet and assist seniors in the office with warmth and professionalism.
- Answer phones and connect clients with available resources and programs.
- Provide information about services and make appropriate referrals.
- Administrative Support
- Maintain organized records, databases, and office files.
- Assist with special projects, event planning, and day-to-day office operations.
- Support staff and board members as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous administrative or office experience preferred.
- Social work skills and/or compatible experience appreciated
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills; able to manage multiple responsibilities.
- Comfort with computers, Microsoft Office, and social media platforms.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
- Compassion, patience, and genuine interest in working with older adults.
Preferred Qualities
- Experience in billing, bookkeeping, or financial recordkeeping.
- Familiarity with local community resources and services for seniors.
- Dedication to geriatrics or a personal passion for serving older adults in Marion County.

- Hourly rate commensurate with experience
