Job Description
REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Five plus years' experience in hazardous waste or chemical handling procedures required.
Supervisory experience is desirable.
Must be a team player and possess good safety and housekeeping skills.
DUTIES:
Manage the operation of the incinerator in conformance with standard operating procedures
Ensure compliance with company policy, and local, state and federal regulations
Inspect production area and equipment and document.
Identify regulatory compliance and maintenance problems, and implement appropriate corrective action
Ensure adequate training of incineration/operations personnel
Supervision of Operations Technicians
Assume Incident Command during an emergency situation when needed
Ensure safety standards/policies are followed for employees and contractors working in the incineration area.
Supervise maintenance and E/I activities in the area on nights and weekends.
Communicate with BOP to ensure efficient processing of waste feeds.
