Hours & Pay

Pay Rate: $36.50 - $42.16 per hour

Schedule: Full-time, on-site

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute test plans and procedures to evaluate design feasibility of parts/components

Set up and operate test equipment for moderately complex tests

Analyze, interpret, and summarize test results, identifying potential performance issues and recommending countermeasures

Document and present findings in written reports and formal presentations

Propose design changes based on test results to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards

Predict performance and potential failures, providing actionable insights to design and engineering teams

Ensure testing accuracy, thoroughness, and completeness

Qualifications & Experience

Required:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (EE) or Electrical Engineering Technology (EET), or equivalent experience (6 years may substitute)

5+ years of test engineering experience in automotive or related fields

Hands-on experience creating test specifications, conducting tests, and analyzing results

Strong ability to communicate findings clearly, both written and verbal

Preferred / Nice to Have:

Familiarity with test equipment setup and operation for design validation

Experience predicting performance/failure and recommending design improvements

Physical Requirements

Lift/carry up to 25 lbs (very strong)

Moderate ability to bend, crouch, stoop, reach, sit, stand, and walk for extended periods

Push/pull equipment as required
