Job Description

The Finance Manager is responsible for providing strategic leadership and oversight of all financial operations within the organization. This role ensures the integrity of financial information, compliance with applicable regulations, and the effective management of financial processes. The Finance Manager leads the finance and accounting team, collaborates with cross-functional departments, and delivers financial insights to support organizational objectives and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all financial operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed assets.
  • Oversee the preparation and review of timely and accurate financial statements, reports, and analyses for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain robust internal controls and financial policies to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Direct the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Coordinate and support external audits, tax filings, and other regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities in collaboration with senior management.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for process improvement or cost savings.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop finance and accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support operational efficiency and strategic initiatives.
  • Evaluate and implement financial systems, tools, and technologies to enhance reporting and operational effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) preferred.
  • Proven experience in financial management and accounting, with a track record of increasing responsibility.
  • Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
  • Proficiency with accounting software and financial management systems.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
