Position Responsibilities for Diagnostician/Clinician

• Provide expertise in utilizing therapeutic interview and assessment techniques appropriate for each client’s needs, including MI, CBT, DBT, and other agency-endorsed practices.   
• Coordinate and develop appropriate treatment recommendations which will include services and assistance necessary to achieve specific objectives, as well as identify the intensity and duration required of services
• Diagnose appropriately using DSM-5.
• Coordinate and participate in the team’s development of a personal service plan which will include services and assistance necessary to achieve specific objectives, as well as identify the intensity and duration required of therapy

 Position Responsibilities for Mental Health/Counselor

• Provide expertise in utilizing therapeutic techniques appropriate for each client’s needs, including Brief Solution Focused Therapy and other best or evidence-based practices
• Provide individual, couple, family, and group therapy as dictated by the client's needs
• Knowledge of the spectrum of mental illness, symptomology, psychotropic medication, and problems presented in adjusting to life cycle changes.  Diagnose appropriately using DSM 5.
