Job Description

As the Quality Control Technician (Rotational Shifts), you will perform multiple scientific analyses to evaluate the quality of raw materials, in-process materials, finishes goods and ensure compliance with established standards. Conduct and validate carious chemical quality control (QC) assays. Compile, interpret, and documents statistical data from testing processes to either confirm compliance with established quality standards or identify deviations. Work on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role.

Responsibilities:

Test for raw materials, in-process and finished goods materials
Analytical tests include acid/base titrations, hydroxyl, and epoxy equivalency titrations, percent total neutralization, percent water value, precent solids value, Brookfield or Garder viscosity values, GC and GPC testing, particle and zeta size testing, density and conductivity testing
Maintain area organization and cleanliness
Certificate of analysis generation for outgoing material shipments
Monitor lab email for temporary process notes and lab work requests

Qualifications:

High-school diploma required
Knowledge of Chemistry
Preferably up to 2 years of professional work experience
