Electronic Test & Project Engineer

DARE Electronics, Inc. is currently seeking an Electronic Test & Project Engineer.  As a highly-valued member of DARE’s team, you will be directly responsible for helping ensure DARE maintains its reputation for 100% Quality and On-Time delivery by building, testing, and/or inspecting products and performing a wide variety of other work involved in designing and manufacturing DARE’s highly specialized, custom products.

Responsibilities Include:

• Building, testing, and/or inspecting products
• Troubleshooting product failures
• Designing test boxes, manufacturing fixtures, tools, and/or aids
• Implementing the use of new PCB software
• Interfacing with customers to understand their requirements

Desired Qualifications / Characteristics:

• In-Depth Electronics Circuit Knowledge, especially AC DC circuits
• Extensive background in soldering, assembling, and testing electronic circuit boards
• Working knowledge of J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610
• Basic metrology and machine shop skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Great attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to work well independently and as member of a team
• Willingness to learn
• Self-Driven / Motivated to excel
• Proficient in use of Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
