Job Summary:
- We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Youth Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting and guiding youth in a group home setting. This position requires a strong commitment to resident rights, behavior management, and medication administration while fostering a safe and nurturing atmosphere for all residents.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to youth residents in daily activities and personal care.
- Administer medications as prescribed, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
- Advocate for resident rights, promoting dignity and respect in all interactions.
- Implement behavior management strategies to support positive outcomes for residents.
- Assist with recreational activities that engage residents and enhance their quality of life.
- Drive residents to appointments or community activities as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans tailored to each resident’s needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and changes in resident behavior or condition.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in long-term care settings such as nursing homes, retirement homes, or assisted living facilities is preferred.
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and resident rights is essential.
- Experience in memory care or direct support roles is highly desirables.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with you and their families effectively.
- Ability to manage challenging behaviors with patience and understanding.
- A valid driver’s license is required for transporting residents when necessary.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Position Type:
- Full-Time
- Must be available to work weekends.

- 2nd Shift
- 40 hours per week
- 2pm – 10pm
