Pay: $18.44 - $23.04 per hour

Are you looking for a great opportunity with potential for growth? Licking County Job & Family Services is seeking talented, outgoing individuals to become part of our customer service team. Our Agency delivers services to the Licking County community in the areas of public assistance, workforce development and protective services. JFS Customer Service Specialists serve as initial points of contact for our community. This is an excellent opportunity to come grow with us!

These entry-level positions are part of our customer service unit, representing the Agency through services such as phone operations, scanning, and mail processing, as well as cross-training on reception services and community resources. All customer service positions work together to ensure quality services are provided to individuals and families in need. Customer service team members will utilize specialized computer programs, as well as traditional programs such as Word, Excel, document imaging, and email.

Duties of this position include but are not limited to assisting customers in our reception area by processing documents and answering questions about Agency services and benefits; receiving and processing mail; serving customers in our community resource room; greeting and assisting customers both face-to-face and by phone; processing public assistance case alerts, and directing customers to Agency and community programs and resources.

A successful customer service team member will possess an Associate Degree, plus one (1) year in customer service with the public;

OR

three years of demonstrated and relevant customer service experience.

Successful background check, drug screen and driving record check required.
