Location: Ottawa County Riverview Healthcare Campus, Ohio
Shift: Full-Time, 12-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM)
Job Summary:
Ottawa County Riverview Healthcare Campus is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Dietary Food Service Worker (FSW) to join our dietary team on a full-time basis. This position is essential in ensuring our residents receive nutritious and appealing meals in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent service to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve meals to residents according to dietary guidelines and resident preferences.
- Assist with meal setup, including arranging food on trays and ensuring proper portion control.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, dining areas, and equipment.
- Follow food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the safety and quality of meals served.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving and storing food supplies.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to address dietary needs and preferences.
- Assist in planning and preparing special meals or snacks as needed.
