Job Overview
Aramark is seeking dedicated and reliable individuals to join our team at the Worth Center. This position plays an important role in supervising and assisting incarcerated individuals as they perform daily kitchen operations. Team members support food service activities, maintain safety and sanitation standards, and ensure quality service is provided within a habilitation facility environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and assist incarcerated individuals with kitchen duties including:
- Cooking and food preparation
- Cleaning and sanitation
- Serving meals to other residents
- Maintain compliance with facility rules, safety standards, and food handling guidelines
- Support daily operations to ensure meals are delivered efficiently and on time
- Promote a respectful and structured environment while working alongside incarcerated individuals
Schedule & Hours
- Full-time or part-time availability
- Shift options:
- 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM (break: 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM)
- 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM (break: 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM)
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass a background check
- Prior food service or supervisory experience preferred, but not required
- Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a structured correctional facility environment
Compensation
- Hourly wage: $15.75 – $16.50 (based on experience)
