Overview




Apogee has an exciting new opportunity for a Senior Configuration Manager (AgilePod) to support the Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance, and Special Operations Forces (ISR & SOF) Directorate located at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (AFB), OH.


Responsibilities





Perform Configuration Management and Data Management (CM/DM) support related to the development, production, and support of various weapon systems and items of equipment acquired by AFLCMC/WI Directorate and AFLCMC/WIN Division
Review program-unique system, development, and product specifications for both hardware and software, for proper format, content, and compliance with program requirements and appropriate standards as well as identify potential issues and make recommendations to the Government for consideration
Maintain configuration status accounting databases and records to reflect the configuration status of baseline documentation and fielded systems and equipment
Support the configuration control function, to include receiving, disseminating, processing, tracking, and final disposition of SOOs, SOWs, ECPs, CCPs, Requests for Deviation/Waiver (RFD/RFW), DRs, airworthiness directive notes, service actions and notices of deficiency
Assist in reviewing change proposals for thoroughness, CM/DM impacts, and compliance with Government directives and guidance
Make appropriate recommendations for Government review and disposition, assist in the preparation and facilitation of Configuration Control Boards (CCBs)
Support Functional Configuration Audits (FCAs), Physical Configuration Audits (PCAs), and compliance audits, to include audit planning, auditing hardware and software Configuration Items (CIs), as well as manage the disposition and tracking of action items and minutes
Provide advisory and draft documentation assistance to data users and requesters for the selection and tailoring of Data Item Descriptions (DIDs), preparation of one-time and standard DIDs, and completing data management forms, to include Contract Data Requirement Lists (CDRLs), and Contractor Data Requirements Substantiation (AF Form 585)
Provide support to the Scientific and Technical Information (STINFO) to review and assist in the proper marking, handling, and dissemination control of STINFO policies, processes, and practices for all technical data
Establish and support the maintenance of DR/Material Improvement Project (MIP) files and Joint Deficiency Reporting System database and/or weapon system contractors' databases


Qualifications




Minimum Experience:

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen

Clearance: Must posses and maintain a Secret clearance

Education and Years of Experience:

Master's degree with 12 years of experience, including 5 supporting the DoD
Bachelor's Degree with 15 years of experience, including 5 supporting the DoD
High School Diploma with 20 years of experience, including 8 supporting the DoD

Additional Experience:

Strong knowledge and experience managing hardware and software configurations, engineering documents, design drawings, engineering changes and notices, and planning/conducting design audits
Working knowledge of the DoD and AF acquisition processes, procedures, and policies
