The Step2 Company LLC; 10010 Aurora Hudson Road, Streetsboro, OH, 44241; Phone Number +1 (234) 233-5856; is looking to fill 5 Roto Machine Operator positions from April 1, 2026 to December 18, 2026. This is for temporary, full-time employment. 

 

Duties include:

 

Perform rotational molding machine start-up, operating, troubleshooting, and shut- down procedures. Pour powder into molds of the rotational molding machine, which are part of a spinning frame used in the rotational molding process. Apply mold release to molds prior to each cycle of the rotational molding machine. Operate the main control panel of the rotational molding machine and record data such as heat levels for ovens, rotational speeds, and cycle times on IR sheets. Monitor the rotational molding machine as it heats the powder in the molds, transforming it into liquid resin, and ensure proper cooling once the resin forms a coating. Communicate with the Assembly team regarding the quality of parts produced by the rotational molding machine. Assist helpers on proper adjustments and mold setups for the rotational molding machine, including determining the correct amount of powder to place in molds and ensuring accurate application of mold release before each cycle. Clean and maintain molds, mold parting lines, the work area, and cleaning equipment such as rags, brooms, and dustpans used in the rotational molding process. Maintain housekeeping standards on the platform and in the rotational molding machine area throughout the shift. Perform other routine duties as assigned.

 

 

Requirements:

 

No minimum education or prior experience is required. The worker must be able to stand, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. Must be able to walk, stoop, kneel, or bend. Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Be able to be exposed to extreme heat and loud noise levels in work environment. Be able to be occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, or airborne particles.

 

Work hours and days and anticipated start dates of work:

 

Employer will offer at least 40 hours of work per week. Monday to Friday from 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm.

 

Worksite Locations:

 

All work will be performed at the primary worksite located at 2 Step2 Drive, Perrysville, Ohio 44864 in Ashland County. No travel to additional locations is required. The Employer will not provide transportation to and from the worksite.

 

 

Wage:

 

The offered wage is $19.64 per hour, based on experience.  Overtime is available up to 20 hours and will be paid at a rate of $29.46 per hour based on the hourly rate.

 

Disclosures:

 

Single work week will be used to compute wages due.  Pay period is Weekly.  Employer will make all deductions from worker’s paycheck required by law. Housing is provided at a cost of $1,200 per month and will be deducted from payroll. The offered housing is optional to workers. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will arrange and pay directly for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker’s reasonable costs for return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another.  The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distance involved.  Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts.  Reimbursement in the first week of work for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the worker (but not including passport expenses or other charges primarily for the benefit of the worker). The employer will provide worker at no charge all tools, supplies and equipment required to perform the job and on the job training on the proper use of tools and equipment.  The employer guarantees, as required by law, to offer work for the hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12 week period of the total employment period.
