Job Description:
- Preparing food and supplies for delivery to classrooms, delivery of food to classrooms and collecting food and dishes after meal service, in a timely manner.
- Ensure that serving bowls and utensils are provided to support family style dining in the classrooms.
- Follow safe food handling procedures for transport of food to the classrooms. Monitor and maintain proper food temperatures during delivery and prior to service. Responsible for recording food temperatures of delivered foods.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary working environment at all times by following safe food handling procedures as well as cleaning and sanitizing carts, warming carts, and refrigerators.
- Wash dishes and equipment. Wipe surfaces as required during the day to maintain a clean kitchen area. Mop floors daily.
- Follow inventory control procedures as directed.
- Maintain confidentiality in all areas for children, families, staff, and records.
- Attend all training and in-services as directed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Details: Full time, 40 hours/week. Monday through Friday: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM. $15.36/hour.
Job Criteria: Include but not limited to standing and walking for long periods of time, pushing, lifting, bending and reaching. Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Qualifications: Must possess high school diploma or GED equivalent. Must possess at least six months’ experience with large volume cooking of food service. Ohio Certification in ServSafe PIC minimum
and 6 months of previous experience is preferred.
Driver’s License Requirement(s): Must have a valid driver’s license.
