Injection Molders 2nd & 3rd shifts
The Injection Molding Operator is responsible for following the training parameters to become competent in injection molding machines.
Responsibilities: The Injection Molding Operator responsibilities include, but are not limited to, learning the process to:
- Load plastic tubes onto molding machine and activate the machine
- Unload tubes from core pins at the end of the molding cycle
- Maintain cycle times
- Visually inspect finished parts to ensure compliance with quality specifications
- Pack finished parts for shipment
- Keep equipment and work area clean
Organization and Relationships
The Injection Molding Operator reports to their assigned Area Manager and/or Shift Lead
Job Requirements
To qualify for the Injection Molding Operator position, the candidate is required to have: - Hand-eye coordination
- Basic math skills
- Prior Injection molding experience for six months
- Ability to stand for up to long periods of time
- Must be able to use pull, push, and stretch out with wrists, fingers, palm, and forearm as well as unload tubes from boxes onto core pins
Schedule:
- 2nd shift Monday-Friday 3PM-11PM
- 3rd shift Sunday-Thursday 11PM-7AM
Compensation:
- $18 hr 2nd shift
- $18.50hr 3rd shift
- PTO after 30 days of employment
- Medical benefits begin the 1st of the month following the completion of the first 30 days of employment
